The classic and popular Tobi Slub Hanten features woven slub yarns, giving it a casual impression. It is also popular as a gift. Made in Japan.

With a Western-style look, this hanten is loved by all ages and genders. It comes in a unisex size and is available in 4 colors. It is also popular as a paired gift. This is part of Miyata Orimono’s traditional wadded hanten series, continuing since 1965.

About the Japanese Cotton “Tobi Slub”:

“Tobi Slub” cotton is a richly textured fabric woven with dyed slub yarns. Slub yarn is intentionally made uneven in thickness, with thick and thin parts within the same yarn, creating a distinctive and textured feel.

While most wadded hantens have a traditional Japanese aesthetic, the Tobi Slub hanten has a more Western-style impression, making it popular regardless of age or gender.

Note: Due to the unique nature of slub yarn, the fabric may have snags or fuzz caused by friction. Please be aware of this.
