Revisiting the traditional short-sleeve yakko style, we created a more comfortable five-sleeve hanten that allows easier work and can be worn like a cardigan. Limited to our online store and select shops. Made in Japan.

We designed a padded hanten that you can wear like a cardigan during remote work or while working.
The sleeve length is a five-sleeve style that won’t get in your way but keeps you warm.
You can work while maintaining warmth.
We carefully reviewed and perfected collar width, front ties, sleeve angle, and sleeve length to create this new shape.
The outer fabric uses Japanese cotton “Nessa” in black/red, with a plain lining — a piece that feels both chic and warm.

What is Japanese cotton “Nessa”?

Japanese cotton “Nessa” is a textile expressing the shimmering colors of heated sand using yarns of varying thickness to create a three-dimensional effect.
We crafted this piece with special weaving and density techniques for warmth and softness.

Compared to traditional short-sleeve yakko, which had loose sleeves for easy arm movement, this five-sleeve hanten features a fitted sleeve cuff for better comfort.

For convenience, pockets are sewn into the side seams on both left and right.

Large pockets are added on both sides inside.
When worn open without tying the front string, the front tie can be stored inside these pockets.

Compared to the traditional male yakko size, this is smaller by:

• Body length: 9.5 cm

• Sleeve length: 1.5 cm

• Chest circumference: 16 cm

Compared to traditional female yakko size, this is smaller by:

• Body length: 5.5 cm

• Chest circumference: 10 cm

• Sleeve length: 1 cm longer

Compared to traditional fit-style female yakko size, this is larger by:

• Sleeve length: 5 cm

• Chest circumference: 2 cm

Note: The padding is hand-stuffed, so weight may vary by ±50 g. All products are genuine and handcrafted for comfort, so please understand slight variations.
