Showa Retro Style with a Nostalgic Feel

Inspired by fabric designs from the Showa era, we recreated a nostalgic padded hanten (Japanese traditional jacket). While synthetic fibers were commonly used back then, this modern version is made from 100% cotton, the current mainstream material. This hanten gives you a warm, old-fashioned feeling. Made with black velvet trim. Made in Japan.

About the Fabric “Hinata”
“Hinata” is a bright, large check pattern with smaller dobby-woven flowers scattered inside.
It represents flowers waiting for spring during winter.

Collar
The collar uses popular black velvet material from the era, which resists dirt and hides stains well.
It is brushed for a soft and comfortable touch.

Chest measurement is twice the back width. Since this is a padded product with an open front center, the actual worn chest size is slightly smaller. Weight varies by about ±50g due to handmade padding.
